Expression, purification and identification of isotope-labeled recombinant cystatin C protein in Escheichia coli intended for absolute quantification using isotope dilution mass spectrometry

DATE: March 2023           Pubmed ID105785                   IF: 2.205

Isotope-labeled proteins are expected to be used as internal standard proteins in the field of protein quantification by isotope dilution mass spectrometry (ID/MS). To achieve the absolute quantification of Cystatin C (Cys C) based on ID/MS, we aims to obtain 15N isotope-labeled recombinant Cys C (15N-Cys C) protein.

Production and characterization of monoclonal antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii ROP18 with strain-specific reactivity

DATE: February 2020       p.p: 940 - 948

The rhoptry kinase 18 of Toxoplasma gondii (TgROP18) has been identified as a key virulence factor that allows the parasite to escape from host immune defences and promotes its proliferation in host cells. Although much research is focused on the interaction between host cells and TgROP18,the development of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against TgROP18 has not been reported till date.

Novel mono-lipidated dimeric glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist with improved long-acting and hypoglycemic activity

DATE: January 2019        p.p: 9654-9662

Dimerization is a useful tool to boost ligand–receptor interaction. Both lipidation and dimerization effectively prolong the short half-life (t1/2) of peptides by facilitating binding with serum albumin and increasing hydrodynamic size.

Ultrasensitive analysis of heat shock protein 90α with antibodies orderly arrayed on a novel type of immunoprobe based on magnetic COFs

DATE: January 2019        p.p: 553-560                  IF: 6.556

The early diagnosis of liver cancer by target biomarkers is of great significance for improving the survival rate of cancer patients. However, it is still a challenging task to sensitively detect circulating protein biomarkers due to decreased binding activity of antibodies originating from uncontrolled orientation of immobilization on the surface of a solid matrix.

Mitochondrial Drp1 recognizes and induces excessive mPTP opening after hypoxia through BAX-PiC and LRRK2-HK2

DATE: November 2021       IF: 9.685

Mitochondrial mass imbalance is one of the key causes of cardiovascular dysfunction after hypoxia. The activation of dynaminrelated protein 1 (Drp1), as well as its mitochondrial translocation, play important roles in the changes of both mitochondrial morphology and mitochondrial functions after hypoxia. However, in addition to mediating mitochondrial fifission, whether Drp1 has other regulatory roles in mitochondrial homeostasis after mitochondrial translocation is unknown.
